Claudiu-Gabriel Dinu is a Romanian-born CEO, entrepreneur and author based in the United Kingdom. His professional journey spans recruitment, e-commerce, technology, automation and service robotics, with a focus on transforming ambitious ideas into practical, operating businesses.

His entrepreneurial instinct appeared early. As a child, he found ways to earn money by selling sweets, repairing computers and trading mobile phones. That same drive later developed into a career built around identifying opportunities, solving problems and creating businesses in competitive markets.

Claudiu's journey has not followed a conventional path. It has included migration, setbacks, difficult decisions, business reinvention and the challenge of starting again in unfamiliar places. These experiences shaped a leadership style centred on resilience, adaptability, loyalty and the belief that progress comes from taking responsibility and continuing to move forward.

Today, Claudiu is focused on building technology-led businesses that solve real-world problems, create value for customers and introduce new ideas to established industries. He is particularly passionate about artificial intelligence, automation and the growing role of service robotics within hospitality, retail and customer-facing environments. Across his portfolio, he employs more than 30 people and continues to create jobs around new ideas.

He is also developing a founder advisory practice for people who want practical help clarifying an opportunity, building a brand, challenging a business model and creating a route to market.

Away from business, Claudiu is a husband and father. Family remains one of the strongest influences behind his ambition and his definition of success.

The memoir follows his childhood in Ploiești, Romania, where he grew up in a loving family with limited financial resources and developed an instinct for business from an unusually young age. It explores his restless teenage years, his first journey to Spain, the mistakes that tested his character, his return to legitimate business and the relationship that ultimately led him to begin a new life in Britain.

Written with humour, honesty and self-awareness, the book is not a polished story of effortless success. It is a story about ambition, family loyalty, poor decisions, second chances, business, migration and the belief that where a person begins does not have to determine where they finish.
